Simcoe Area Women's Institute Workshop
Take part in an informative day! Simcoe Area WI will be sharing ideas and tips on Membership & Tweedsmuir History.
How can you make your Tweedsmuir Histories more interesting and informative to share with communities and future generations? For those non members it will give you insight into storing your news articles and pictures. A tour of the Simcoe County Archives will be part of this exciting workshop.
Provincial Membership Coordinator, Ellen Martin, will be sharing with us how to attract Members and how to keep them engaged.
This workshop is for anyone who belongs to a volunteer/community group that would like to see their organization thrive.

Admission: $10 for non Women’s Institute Members / $5 for Women’s Institute Members. Lunch will be included with the workshop.

5th Annual Spring Awakening
On April 25, 2013 the Grand Bend Women's Institute will be hosting their 5th Annual Spring Awakening at the Grand Bend Legion.
The purpose of this event is to provide education, awareness, and a social time for the local community residents. Past Branch programs have proven to be overwhelming successful. There will be two guest speakers in the morning and three demonstrations in the afternoon. As a result of the tornado in Goderich, Ontario, one speaker will discuss how to deal with emergencies.

Lots of door prizes! Muffins and coffee in the morning and lunch at noon will be provided.
Proceeds raised at this ROSE Session are donated back to the community at large: Grand Bend Health Centre, the Lambton Elderly Outreach, Haiti Relief and the Goderich Tornado Relief, as well as various health campaigns and programs of the WI.

Join the Members of Waterloo District Women's Institute for their annual Women's Day! Topics for this year include: Alzheimer Society, Herbs for Everyone, and Alia N Tan Jay Fashion Show. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Alzheimer Society.
