She has been a recipient of the Ontario Agri-Food Education Teacher of the Year Award. Pat was also a 4-H leader and promotor and has been active at local, regional and provincial levels. In addition, she and her husband are goat breeders, winning many awards, and for several years organized the Goat Breeders education display at the RAWF. Pat has been instrumental in developing markets for goat products such as soaps, cheese and goat’s milk. She has also been active in promoting training for judges for the Agriculture fairs in the Sudbury/Algoma Districts and has expertise in both animal and homecraft areas. Pat is a Past Provincial President of the Ontario Agriculture Societies.

Pat was a co-founder of the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Education and Marketing Association and has been on the planning committee for the Northern Ontario Pavilion at the RAWF since its inception.
