To improve quality of life for rural and urban members, family, community action and the world through education and support programs as in guest speakers, seminars, and receiving of Pennies for Friendship. Personal growth and learning leadership skills is a positive avenue of WI membership. Monthly mottoes are maintained by program convenor.
Tweedsmuir history of farming community and branch activity is digitized with local Archives at the Elgin County Museum and is an ongoing project; local Kilmartin Cemetery, of which the branch receives a yearly grant from the Municipality, is maintained by the branch; yearly exhibits at Aylmer fair; support to Farm Safety Kids Day; volunteerism where needed; financial support to Christmas Care, VON, Children's Hospital, Caring Cupboard, Adelaide Hoodless and Erland Lee. Also preparing and serve a hot lunch at Elgin County Building for staff and community at large.
