An important day was recognized in June of 2002 at the Town of Mono Community Centre when Camilla WI celebrated 100 years of success with close to 100 guests in attendance.

In honour of this achievement, Camilla WI Members planted the Women’s Institute Rose in their private gardens and two bushes in the Town of Mono Millennium Patio Garden.

After lunch was served, Members received 100 Year Anniversary Pins from the FWIO Provincial Office, and heard congratulations from a representative for MPP Murray Calder and a number of other dignitaries.
