In 2002, Chesterville Women’s Institute celebrated their 100th Anniversary by hosting a tea in the local Legion Hall. Nearly 200 guests attended, each receiving a bookmark with the Institute Grace printed on it.

Congratulations were received from Her Majesty the Queen, MP Bob Kilger, Mayor Claude Cousineau, local Councillor Roger Cole, and a number of other local and provincial dignitaries.

Faith Nelms, representing FWIO Provincial President Dianne Orr, presented each Branch Member with a 100 Year Pin.
