Finch Women's Institute (Eastern Area) held their 100th Anniversary on November 2, 2010. This celebration was the topic for a ROSE Session for Stormont-Dundas District. Eighty-four guests learned of the involvement of Finch WI in the community over the past 100 years. Visitors enjoyed refreshments and door prizes. The grand prize was a quilt handcrafted by Finch WI Members in 1989. The Branch was honoured with recognition by various levels of government. The highlight was the presentation of the FWIO certificates and pins, marking 100 years of hard work and dedication.
