In 2001, Halton District WI celebrated their 100th Anniversary in grand style. Outgoing President Marion McPhail and outgoing Secretary Doris Calder helped plant a tree at Mountview Institute Hall at Country Heritage Park in Milton.

Each Past President and Secretary helped fill the hole with a shovel full of soil. Entertainment, games, presentations and an evening banquet rounded out the most excellent day.
