Hastings West District Women’s Institute (Trent Valley Area) celebrated its 100th Anniversary on May 17, 2001 at the River Valley Community Centre.

Business and installation of officers was followed by a lovely dinner. In the evening, the release of ceremonial doves celebrated the 100th Anniversary and unveiling of a new banner making the four Branches – Uniondale, Pine Grove, River Valley and Highlands – in the District.
