Two hundred WI Members, spouses and guests attended the 100th Anniversary of Perth South District Women’s Institute at the Mitchell and District Community Centre in the spring of 2002.

The ten Branches in the District and the District Curators, Brenda Marshall and Jean Copeland, exhibited historical displays. Jeannie Coulthard, Florence Peppler and Marlene Archer cut the anniversary cake.

FWIO President Dianne Orr and a number of local dignitaries brought greetings, and congratulations were received from Prime Minister Jean Chretien and several other key federal and provincial figures.
