The 100th Anniversary celebration for Rockton Women’s Institute was held at the Rockton Agricultural Building in January of 2002. One hundred and fifty Members and guests were entertained by a humorous address given by Eleanor Wood.

Tweedsmuir History Books and much more memorabilia created a great deal of interest. Each Member received a 100 Year Pin and Member Ruth Smith was presented with a 60 Year Membership Pin.

A Branch history was outlined by Members Carolyn James and Donna Miedema, followed by greetings from local politicians.
