An afternoon tea was held in July of 2001 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Wyebridge WI (Simcoe Area), with 106 people in attendance. Four Past Members, including two centenarians, were honoured guests. WI dignitaries and representatives from four levels of government extended congratulatory greetings.

Members from all Branches in Simcoe Centre District and from two Branches in Simcoe North District shared the afternoon. The community centre was decorated with displays of antique china, quilts, furniture, clothing, utensils and tools.

A timeline highlighting the Branch’s accomplishments throughout the years proved it has reached out to those in the local community, across Canada and around the world.
